Fund raising run from Banbury to Witney
David Parris has decided to raise awareness and hopefully raise a little bit of money, for people that are struggling through the current crisis. His challenge is to run from Banbury to Witney which is 28 miles, on the 1st March. He only started running in March 2020 around the time that the first lockdown was announced; this is by far the greatest challenge that he has ever contemplated. He will set off from Banbury at 07:00 and plan to get to the Witney & West Oxfordshire Foodbank for 13:30. If you can spare any money however small it is, it will be going to a very good cause to support families in need.
His goal is £150 but it would be amazing to smash this target and raise as much as he can on their behalf. To support his efforts and donate to the Witney & West Oxfordshire Foodbank please see https://gofund.me/26030870
Witney & West Oxfordshire Foodbank also have a Facebook page where they post what items they are running low on, please follow and share their page.
Thanks to everyone who has helped us
