Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious minimum three-day supply of food.

Our shopping list shows the food items that we need right now.

You can also follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for updates of our most-needed urgent items.

Download the BankTheFood app and always know what we need, when we need it!

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see below for our food collection point locations.

Good to know!

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks or charities to support their work particularly if they experience shortages, or if we have excess stock that can be put to immediate use. This ensures your donations go to help people directly in Oxfordshire.

  • Please note that we can only accept non-perishable food items that are still in date. We cannot accept fresh food or homemade goods for health and safety reasons.
  • We cannot accept deliveries of online supermarket food orders; deliveries to our warehouse offices must be done in person.
  • We accept additional items such as toiletries and sanitary products, cleaning supplies, disposable cutlery, paper plates and bowls – but we do not accept clothing, toys, or electrical goods.
  • It rarely happens, but sometimes we are given items which are close to their expiry date. When this does happen we share it with other local charities to use so there is less waste and all donates get used.
  • We suggest that any food that has been purchased in one store and brought into another store should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food or any other items.
